AQS Solar is a European Renewable Energy Company based in Malta specialized in the design, engineering, construction and distribution of high quality renewable energy and home automation systems since 2009. They have an established network of partners in a number of countries in the Mediterranean region. Since some years they decided to expand their market in Africa. They have already worked with many African countries as Tunisia, Algeria or Egypt.
Organization :
This organization chart shows that the technical field is more developed than the commercial one. In fact Adrian is the only person with a commercial background. However Shati and Camilo help him on many things. For example Camilo creates products campaigns to find new clients. In addition Shati works on the market development for African countries. About the technical field AQS Med Ltd is divided in two parts : solar and home automation. Shati is an engineer specialized in renewable energy area whereas Camilo is an engineer responsible for home automation field. Concerning the other interns Romain, Louis and Basma are also french students. They are working on the two fields but especially on solar projects. Romain and Louis studied two years the energies and thermal systems whereas Basma will finish her engineering school in september. Enrique, a spanish man, is working mainly on the home automation part. He is 33 years old and he studied electronic field, in Spain, during two years.
Communication :
About the communication they are using different IT tools. Firstly, like many other companies, they have a Facebook profil. This page offers a global view of AQS Med Ltd. On this one they are speaking about their projects or their products. In addition they are posting home automation and solar articles and videos.
Then, to prospect, they are using the website MailChimp. Thanks to this tool you can create mail campaigns and send these to the prospects. After that you can see which customer has opened the mail, clicked on the website link and more. It's really practical to know which company or client is potentially interested. Simultaneously they are obviously using the phone calls.
Market & Products:
AQS Med Ltd. offers solar, home automation and e-mobility solutions. They are mainly working with maltese customers and companies but in recent years they decided to develop their market in Africa. This company grow up quickly so they want to seize opportunities in African countries. The solar systems are not really present in this part of the world and the potential of these countries is huge.
PAMA Supermarket in Mosta, Malta :

In 2015 AQS Med Ltd. completed his biggest project : the installation of 2500 photovoltaic panels on this building roof-top. This supermarket is the largest of Malta. This installation of 636kWp generates about 1MWh per year. As a consequence, it results in saving of over 720 tonnes of CO2 emissions per annum.

Solar Panels :
They are offering four brands of solar panels. With these brands the customer can choose between different powers : 260Wp, 265Wp, 280Wp and 315Wp. Obviously more this value is important more the power generation is high.
They are proposing monocristalline and polycristalline modules. Thanks to all these options AQS Med Ltd can offer the most adapted product.
Inverters :
The solar panels produce direct current (DC) and the inverter converts this one in alternating current (AC). This conversion is essential to use the electricity generated by the panels.
Solar Heating :
AQS Med Ltd. offers condensation and solar thermodynamic water heater.
Electric Scooters :
AQS Med Ltd. proposes some ranges of electric scooters. Scooters and motorbikes are really used by Maltese people, because of the really dense traffic.
